The Bottom District neighborhood will soon be transformed with the creation of a beautiful Community Rain Garden/Bioswale!

The Golden SEEDS Foundation was awarded the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Blue Green Grey grant, the goal of the Blue-Green-Grey program is to support innovative pilot projects that provide resources for cities and organizations to use to replicate these ideas throughout the metroplex.

A Garden With A Purpose
A rain garden is not just a landscaping feature; it is a purposeful green space that serves as a natural solution to manage stormwater runoff. By capturing rainwater from driveways, and paved surfaces, the rain garden will help prevent flooding and reduce water pollution.
