Dallas, TX – The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the 2025 recipients of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) Partnership Grant Program, receiving an award of $30,000. This prestigious grant is designed to support community-based organizations actively working to expand economic development and strengthen local small businesses and underserved neighborhoods.

The FHLB Dallas Partnership Grant Program (PGP) provides matching funds for operational needs to nonprofit organizations involved in affordable housing and economic development. With a focus on building capacity, the grant helps nonprofits amplify their community impact, enabling them to implement strategic initiatives, develop local talent, and drive meaningful neighborhood transformation.

The grant will directly support The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation’s continued efforts to revitalize The Bottom District, one of South Dallas' most historic and culturally rich communities.

Libbie Terrell Lee, Executive Director of The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation, shared her enthusiasm for what this investment represents:

“We are deeply honored to receive this grant from FHLB Dallas and Inwood National Bank. This is more than a financial investment — it’s a vote of confidence in our community’s potential and our commitment to transforming The Bottom District into a thriving, self-sustaining neighborhood. With these funds, we will continue our efforts to plant seeds of opportunity and empowerment, not only in District 4 but across Dallas and beyond. We believe our work will leave an indelible mark on Texas, and this grant helps us take another bold step toward that vision.”

The grant will support The Foundation’s key initiatives focused on affordable housing education, economic mobility, and neighborhood revitalization — efforts that are vital to ensuring residents of The Bottom have access to the resources and infrastructure needed to thrive.
